5 hours of my life I'll never get back

1st off... I often wonder why I even want a blog because it's clear that I can't devote even 5 min of my day to typing something up. Hell, I don't even know when was the last time I actually blogged, let alone, blogged about something insignificant (which technically is every single post I ever make).

Anywho, sat in front of the TV today for way too many hours... hours that I'll never get back. Not that I totally regret it or anything, but still, how pathetic! Nothing I'm too proud of, but if you know me well enough, you know that I'm obsessed/addicted to the entertainment world. So, what was the big deal w/ tonight, aside from the fact that it's Leap Day? The Oscars were on. I was pretty much glued to my TV set from 5 pm PST to about 10:30 pm, watching the pre-show, the show, the Barbara Walters' spcl etc.

As I reflect (like a tv event such as this one really needs reflection) back to my evening, there really wasn't a pnt in watching it. There were no upsets, no surprises, nothing. The highlight, as usual, was Billy Crystal's opening #. I love the "inserting himself" into different scenes from movies & of course, the opening song & dance. Other than that, nothing too spectacular. No Adrian Brody kissing Halle Berry moment. No flashing of Janet Jackson's boob. The only "excitement" of night was The Barbarian Invasions winning Best Foreign Language Film & the fact that LoTR made a total & complete sweep! 11 Oscars for the film & all rightfully deserved. However, I do have one odd Q about their nominations... how in hell does a movie get nominated & win the Best Sound Mixing award & get snubbed in the Best Sound Editing award? Granted, I'm not exactly knowledgable in this area... but it still seems a bit odd to me.

Can't say that I'd wanna be affliated...

w/ Justin that is. Due to the shenanagins that him & Janet got themselves into. Now poor JC, who's been living in Justin's shadow since *N Sync decided to take a break, has had to suffer.
He was supposed to perform @ the NFL ProBowl event in Hawaii this weekend, but now due to Justin's actions, he's been cut.

Now, I don't wanna come across as a JC fan or nothing (although there's nothing wrong w/ that), but seriously, that royally sucks for him & completely unfair. Hell... JC & Justin aren't even related, so you can't use the excuse of bloodline for a reoccurance of the situation. JC just got a raw deal.

What a load of crap

Well, unfortunately, I had to work today, so I missed out on the Superbowl. Not that I'm a huge football fan, but I wanted to see the commercials & the half time show. & boy... did I hear that I missed out a lot!

However, all this hoopla & press about CBS & T-lake (Justin Timberlake for those who aren't in w/ my lingo) not meaning to do it & that it was by accident & their stinking apologies.... is a huge load of BS! Do you seriously expect me to believe that shite? I'm sorry, but all this press is very much a publicity stunt if you ask me. & may I add, I'm not the only one who believes that?

Just take a look @ this pic...

Call me crazy, but majority of females don't wake up in the morning & say, "Oh... gotta go put that nipple tassle on before I put on my bra." *&* if you can manage to download the video file of the "incident", there's NO possible way in HELL that it wasn't scripted.
