There are times when I wish I didn't have a f/t job

As much as I love having a f/t job (as much one can *really* love a job), I miss having weekdays off to veg out, watch soap operas, play around on the computer, etc. Instead, due to things at work, I'm working 8:30 to 6:10 every day - possibly longer as the weeks progress.

*IF* I didn't have a job, I can guarantee you that I would standing outside on the sidewalk on Cambie this Friday. No, not begging for money (I have too much dignity to do that. ;) ), but standing in line to win prizes and catch a free show w/ the Black Eyed Peas. Not really because I like the band, but because it's free.

Best Buy is throwing a huge "street" party to celebrate the opening of their new flagship store on Cambie. As much as I hate the service at their store (seriously... b/n my bro & I, we've only made 4 purchases @ Best Buy since it opened in Coq. & we've had to go to Customer Service because they charged us the wrong price 3x!!!), that company sure knows how to throw a party! Two years ago, Future Shop threw an awesome street party to celebrate the opening of their Robson Store. Free concerts at clubs! You can't go wrong w/ that. =)
