GAWD... I *love* getting a deal! =)

Yeah, yeah, I've been sorta MIA lately. Working long hours and weekends again. & of course, not getting any additional pay or the opportunity to bank hours. All I've gotta say is that my VP better give me an extra day off when I ask for it & my direct report better give me that raise I ask for!!!!

When I was about 15, Fox intro'd a new show to the world called Sliders. Absolutely fell in love w/ this show (& it didn't hurt that I thought that Jerry O'Connell was an absolute hunk! ;) ). Plus, it was fun watching the show and trying to point out all the different Vancouver sites. So when it was announced last yr that the show was going to be released on DVD, I was thrilled!!!

However, wasn't too thrilled about the price of the set, so I've held off of buying it until today... Walmart dropped the price to $49.82! What made the deal *even* sweeter is the fact that FS is now selling it for $95.99!!! OUCH! Plus, I got a Sin City preview DVD. Fun! =)
