Oh... the shock!

Well, I was talking to my brother on MSN last night & he sent me a link to a picture. I'm sure the reasoning behind his sending me the link was to provide a shock value & did it ever!

I KNOW! Yeah, Brit's skantily dressed, what else is new? More importantly... wtf is up w/ her dancer's hair!?! Does he not realize how retaaaded he looks??? Clearly not. *&* tighty whities? That's a no no in my mind. Blech.

But seriously, I'm not sure if I can be "shocked" by Brit's new wardrobe anymore. I've pretty much come to expect it. I think last yr I was a little more disturbed w/ the whole changing of the image. For instance, her "I'm a Slave for You" video disgusted me. Not really her wardrobe, but more her getting licked, her provocatism (is that a word?) & the fact that it seemed like she was trying too damn hard. & you can't forget that her core audience were still pre-pubescent teens & I had issues w/ Brit being "who she was" when she is a role model, whether she wants to be or not.

However, w/ the "In the Zone" album, she's remained consistent w/ her skanky ways, so I give her props for that... & the upside is that her audience now is much older, so I have less of a prob w/ her being a whore. I just wish that she was a better singer! If she didn't sing "Toxic" I would be an even bigger fan of the song than I am now & I love that song.
